Jay Mac Sanders was born and raised in Hot Springs, Arkansas, where he learned the values of hard work, service, and faith that continue to guide his life today. A proud Razorback by birth and Baylor Bear by education, he first discovered his passion for leadership as a delegate to Arkansas Boys State.

After graduation, Jay Mac served in Washington, D.C., working for Republican Senators Frank Murkowski and Tim Hutchinson during 9/11, the anthrax attacks, and the D.C. sniper crisis—experiences that deepened his resolve to defend American values with integrity and courage. He later returned home to support his father’s legal practice, run conservative campaigns, and launch his real estate career.

In 2007, Jay Mac married Kristin Lee, a fellow Baylor Bear, John Cooper School graduate, and longtime resident of The Woodlands. Together, they are raising their five children along with two loyal lab dogs, Bo and Luke, in the community they proudly call home.

Today, Jay Mac is the founder of Mustard Seed Realtors, and owner of Real Property Management Republic, where he has built successful businesses rooted in integrity, results, and service to others. He is also a Texas Real Estate Commission Certified Education Instructor—one of very few qualified to teach Broker Responsibility as well as Legal I and II courses—reflecting both his expertise and his commitment to raising professional standards across the industry. In addition, he has been entrusted with leadership roles across real estate, serving as President of the National Association of Residential Property Managers–Houston Chapter, being appointed to the Texas REALTORS® Board, and chairing both the Houston Association of REALTORS® Contracts and Forms Committee and the Risk Management Committee.

Grounded in his Christian faith, Jay Mac strives to live out the principle of servant leadership in every role he takes on. He believes his work - whether in business, ministry, or the courtroom - is ultimately about honoring God through service to others.

In addition to his business and judicial service, Jay Mac is active in the community as a Bible Study Fellowship leader, a lifelong student of American history, and a mentor committed to equipping the next generation with strong values and opportunities to succeed.

As Justice of the Peace, Jay Mac has already presided over thousands of cases, handling the everyday matters that directly affect families, businesses, and neighbors across Montgomery County. From landlord–tenant disputes to traffic violations, he has earned a reputation for fairness, professionalism, and respect. For Jay Mac, being Justice of the Peace isn’t about politics—it’s about serving the people with integrity and ensuring justice remains accessible to all.
